 Sciatica is basically irritation of the sciatic nerve,
which is the longest nerve in the body, running from the sacral plexus
in the lower back, through the pelvis and hip joint and down the back
of the thigh. It is a very painful condition which is resolved once
the irritation or pressure is removed.
