Warts are small bumps on the skin caused by the human
papillomaviruses. There are many types of warts such as planter warts,
genital warts and common warts. Common warts can occur anywhere on
the body, but are most common on the hands, fingers, face, knees and
elbows. Planter warts are found on the soles of the feet and under
the toes. Gential warts are present in and around the genitals and
are highly contagious.
