During childbirth, we experience so many emotions. Pain,
worry, and of course joy are but a few. Try the essential oils listed
below to assist with pain management and maintining a sense of calm.
|Suggestions for Use:
- Add ten drops
of essential oil to the bath and soak for fifteen minutes
- Massage the
back and abdomen with essential oil diluted in carrier oil or fragrance
and lanolin free skin cream
- During labor,
have a hankerchief with a couple of drops of essential oil on it
to be used for inhalation
oils are not recommended for use during pregnancy (please consult the
properties the individual oils for more information). However, during
childbirth, use of essential oils to calm and reduce pain can be of
great benefit. Consult your health care practitioner if you have any
questions or concerns.
